A Middle Eastern crime gang suspected of carrying out $11 million worth of insurance fraud involving staged car accidents and faked injuries is being dismantled by police. A 43-year-old solicitor and two men posing as physiotherapists, aged 30 and 31, have been arrested, accused of playing roles in the scam. 16 people in total have now been arrested in the CTP fraud syndicate, and more than 120 charges have been laid, over dishonest insurance claims.
